Huepick (“the App”) is a free iOS application that extracts colors from photos and generates harmonious color palettes. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built this app. Here’s exactly how your information is handled.
The Short Version
We collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. All color extraction and palette generation works completely offline. The only network request is an optional geocoding lookup to display a place name on saved palettes.
Data We Collect
None. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from you. The App has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
Photos
Photos you take or select are processed entirely on your device using on-device color extraction. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
Photo Metadata
When you save a palette, the App may read the date and location already embedded in your photo’s metadata. If location data is present, the App uses Apple’s geocoding service to convert coordinates into a place name (such as “Seattle, WA”) displayed alongside your saved palette. Only the coordinates are sent to Apple for this conversion. No photos, personal data, or device identifiers are included. This feature is optional and only activates when your photo already contains location data.
Saved Palettes
Color palettes you save to your gallery are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

No other permissions are requested. The App does not access your live location. It only reads location data already embedded in your photos’ metadata.
Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no user data to retain or delete. All data stored locally on your device (saved palettes) can be removed at any time by deleting the App.
Your Rights
Because Huepick collects no personal data, there is no user data to access, export, correct, or delete from our systems. You maintain full control over all locally stored data on your device.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, the App is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
