Journeyfolio is a paid iOS application that helps you plan and organize trips. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built this app. Here’s exactly how your information is handled.
The Short Version
We collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Your trip data stays entirely on your device with no cloud sync. The app does not access your GPS location or track your movements. Network requests are made only to fetch weather, flight info, and holiday data for destinations you add.
What Data We Collect
None. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. Journeyfolio has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.
Trip & Activity Data
All trip information you create, including destinations, dates, activities, flight numbers, seat numbers, confirmation numbers, hotel details, and notes, is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except when communicating with the third-party services described below to fetch content you’ve requested.
Location Data
Journeyfolio does not access your device’s GPS location or track your movements.
When you add a destination or search for places, your search queries are sent to Apple’s servers to return results. City names are sent to Apple for geocoding and weather retrieval. Country codes are sent to Nager.Date for public holiday information.
No other location data is collected or transmitted.
Third-Party Services
The app connects to the following services solely to fetch content for display. No personal data or device identifiers are sent, only the minimum information needed to fulfill each request.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. The only external communication the app makes is the service requests described above.
Permissions
Journeyfolio does not request any special device permissions. No camera, location, contacts, microphone, or tracking access is needed.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your trip data persists on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling permanently removes all stored data. There is no cloud backup or sync.
You are in full control. Delete any trip or activity at any time by swiping left within the app.
Your Rights
Since Journeyfolio stores all data locally and collects nothing on our end, you already have complete control over your information. You can view, modify, or delete your data at any time directly within the app.
Children’s Privacy
Journeyfolio does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
